Donella Hedges MS, LAC

Donella Hedges earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in trauma from Grand Canyon University in 2024. As a first-generation professional with immigrant roots, she is deeply committed to breaking mental health stigmas and making a lasting impact in her community through trauma-informed care.

Utilizing a diverse array of therapeutic approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, expressive and experiential techniques, mindfulness, and holistic practices, Donella tailors her methods to meet the unique needs of each client. She believes that an eclectic, personalized approach allows individuals to heal, grow, and realize their fullest potential.

Donella has extensive experience working with a variety of populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, as well as individuals from LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, military veterans, survivors of domestic violence, formerly incarcerated individuals, those living with chronic illness or autoimmune diseases, women empowerment advocates, and individuals with special needs.

She views therapy as a powerful tool for self-discovery and transformation. Passionate about guiding clients toward greater self-awareness, resilience, and well-being, Donella believes in expanding access to care and advocates for mental health resources for all individuals, regardless of their background or circumstances.
