Tawny Bill MA, LAC is an experienced and compassionate therapist with over a decade of experience helping clients navigate a variety of mental health challenges, including substance use disorders, mood disorders, PTSD, and anxiety. Tawny specializes in supporting individuals of all ages to develop healthy coping strategies, with a particular focus on emotion regulation. Her passion lies in empowering clients to overcome obstacles and create meaningful, sustainable change in their lives.
Tawny has a Master’s degree from Argosy University in Mental Health Counseling and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Arizona State University. She is a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of Arizona and has recently applied to the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners for independent licensure. Tawny is also completing her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision, with all coursework finished.
Tawny's therapeutic approach is client-centered and integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities tailored to each individual's needs. Her primary therapeutic frameworks include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Motivational Interviewing. Tawny is committed to empowering her clients by providing them with the tools and insights they need to navigate the challenges they face and to support their personal growth well after therapy ends.
With extensive experience in both individual and group therapy, Tawny works with a diverse range of clients, helping them develop resilience and emotional regulation skills. She strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their challenges and build lasting, positive change. Tawny’s ultimate goal is to guide clients toward self-empowerment, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to sustain their progress far beyond their time in therapy.
