Ben Erickson MS LAC
Therapist - Goodyear & Telehealth
Benjamin (Ben) Erickson MS, LAC earned his Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University and is a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of Arizona. He specializes in helping young adults and adults navigate anxiety, social anxiety, and ADHD—challenges that can make everyday life feel overwhelming and isolating. Ben is an advocate for empowering individuals, fostering resilience, and guiding clients toward purposeful and authentic living, helping them move past the invisible barriers that hold them back.
Utilizing a collaborative and evidence-based approach, Ben draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and the Unified Protocol to tailor his work to each client's unique needs. His therapeutic focus centers on supporting those struggling with social anxiety, generalized anxiety, and ADHD—whether that means lowering anxiety, improving emotion regulation, managing racing thoughts, navigating social situations with more confidence, or developing strategies to stay organized and present. He helps clients address not just their symptoms, but also the patterns and beliefs that keep them stuck, creating a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
Ben has extensive experience working with young adults and adults facing anxiety, social anxiety, and ADHD, often alongside depression and life transitions. He believes that everyone possesses the innate potential for growth and healing, and he finds it most rewarding when clients recognize their own strength and resilience. His goal is not only to help clients feel better in the present, but also to equip them with practical, real-life tools and insights that support progress well beyond the therapy hour—enduring strategies for managing ADHD, reducing anxiety, and showing up more authentically in their relationships and daily life.
He views therapy as a collaborative journey of exploration and empowerment, where clients learn to work with their minds rather than against them. Passionate about guiding clients toward self-discovery, resilience, and well-being, Ben is committed to helping individuals break free from unhelpful patterns and step into the life they envision for themselves. When he is not working with clients, Ben enjoys hiking and spending time with friends, family, and his dog—pursuits that reflect his belief in balance, connection, and the restorative power of nature.
