Donella Hedges MS, LAC, NCC

Therapist

Donella Hedges, MS, LAC, NCC earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in trauma from Grand Canyon University in 2024. As a first-generation multiracial therapist with immigrant roots, she is passionate about breaking mental health stigmas and creating safe, inclusive spaces for healing.

Donella is a trained Brainspotting practitioner and also draws from a variety of evidence-based and holistic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, expressive and experiential techniques, mindfulness, and holistic practices. She believes that no two clients are alike, and tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each individual—helping them heal, grow, and step into their fullest potential.

She has experience working with a wide variety of concerns and works with children, teens, and adults. In addition, she has supported BIPOC communities, first-generation students, individuals experiencing suicidality and those who self-harm, individuals living with addiction, individuals with special needs, LGBTQIA+ communities, military veterans and their family members, survivors of domestic violence, those navigating chronic illness or autoimmune diseases, and those who have been incarcerated.

Donella is especially passionate about cultural awareness, supporting the inner child, and helping clients process and heal from childhood trauma. She views therapy as not only a place for healing, but also for self-discovery, empowerment, and lasting growth.

Above all, Donella believes therapy should feel safe, supportive, and collaborative. Her goal is to walk alongside her clients with compassion, helping them build resilience and find strength in their stories.
