Evelyn Alvarez MS, LAMFT is an insightful, bilingual (Spanish-speaking) therapist who understands that recognizing the need for support is the first step toward meaningful change. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from the University of Phoenix in El Centro, CA, and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix in San Diego, CA.
Evelyn is passionate about helping couples and families reconnect when relationships feel strained, communication has broken down, or life has brought unexpected challenges. She works with individuals, couples, and families experiencing addiction and substance use, relationship difficulties, family conflict, trauma, grief, and major life transitions, with particular passion for supporting couples and families who are struggling to communicate, reconnect, and move forward together.
Evelyn's approach is warm, genuine, respectful, and attuned to each client's needs. She creates a space where clients can be open and honest without fear of judgment. Together, she helps clients understand relationship patterns, strengthen communication, recognize their strengths, and develop healthier ways of responding to life's challenges.
Whether clients are trying to reconnect with a partner, learning how to support a loved one struggling with addiction, navigating challenges with a teenager, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life, Evelyn believes no one has to face it alone. She meets clients where they are and walks alongside them toward greater understanding, healing, and meaningful change.
